What “Quality Tested” Means at SunPower
Here at SunPower, “Quality Tested” is a way of doing business. From our monocrystalline panels to our racking components and solar storage solutions, every product we offer must stand up to the highest standards. Additionally, our high-efficiency solar systems are installed all over the nation, which means they must stand up to a wide range of environmental conditions. This is why our team carefully reviews all vendor testing policies to ensure each product has been evaluated for durability, performance, and reliability for the entire lifetime of the system in all conditions.

Environmental Stress Testing
During environmental stress testing, solar panels are run through a gauntlet of different stressors, such as wide temperature swings, changes in humidity, and, of course, varied UV levels. These tests help to ensure that the materials and manufacturing of the products can not only withstand the weather of diverse climates, but also continue to perform well.
