Once all the details are finalized, we will provide you with a solar system home improvement contract to review and sign.

Once your contract is signed, a certified site surveyor will visit your property and assess its solar potential. They will evaluate your roof condition, check your meter’s capacity, identify any obstructions, and document what could impact your solar installation.

From there, our in-house solar designers use that information to finalize your rooftop system layout, engineering the most efficient solar array for your home and aligning it with your approved financing plan.

Installing solar requires permits from the city, county, or state agencies—and in some cases, approval from your homeowner's association (HOA) or utility provider. Navigating these requirements can be complex, which is why our dedicated permitting team handles them on your behalf.

Permitting and a review by the city or municipal building inspector typically takes 4-6 weeks and is often the longest part of the process. We work behind the scenes to keep you moving forward in the solar installation process.

Every installation is completed by our highly trained technicians who are experts in solar safety, precision, and quality. On installation day, our installation crew(s) will begin by preparing your roof, followed by running wiring, some of which may require access inside your home.

Next, we’ll install and secure the racking system, which is typically the noisiest part of the process. Once the racking is secured, we mount your solar panels and connect the inverters. Our teams work efficiently, with most installations completed in 1-2 days.

Installation timelines will vary based on your design, location, local building codes, and homeowner’s association (HOA) requirements (if applicable), but we coordinate every detail to make it as smooth as possible.

Once the installation is completed, our crew will walk you through the finished system, answer any outstanding questions, and instruct you on what’s next regarding activation.

Before your solar system can be turned on, two inspections are required: one from your local city or county inspector and another from your utility provider. These inspections ensure every part of your rooftop system meets safety and code requirements.

With your home now connected to the utility grid, your solar panels will begin producing clean, renewable energy. You will receive an email including information on how to activate your system.
