1 Peak Time Rates or Time-of-Use rates are periods of time, usually daily, that some utility companies charge you more money for the energy that you use to power your home. Storage system’s ability to power devices during peak will vary depending on the amount of energy stored in the battery, the amount of wattage used by the appliances and devices powered by the battery, the ability to recharge during daylight hours, the frequency and duration of usage, and other factors. The battery storage system should not be relied upon as a single source of power for critical medical devices.

2 Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) allow you to sell energy stored in your battery back to the utility company when there is increased demand from the grid. VPP programs are only available in select locations and may not be compatible with all storage systems.

3 The availability of net metering varies by location and is subject to change. Your SunPower Dealer can help you determine if you qualify. You can also visit the dsireusa.org website for detailed solar policy information.

4 Storage system’s ability to power devices during outages will vary depending on the amount of energy stored in the battery, the amount of wattage used by the appliances and devices powered by the battery, the ability to recharge during daylight hours, the frequency and duration of usage, and other factors. Additional hardware installed by a third party at added cost may be required for powering your HVAC system. The battery storage system should not be relied upon as a single source of power for critical medical devices.
