Benefits of Intelligent Energy Storage

Enphase Energy Management System Without Backup
Ideal for homeowners with limited net energy metering (NEM) programs, our energy management solution seamlessly integrates with your solar system to optimize energy use and help reduce* electricity costs.
Quality assured, this system helps you minimize carbon emissions and maximize your energy savings by intelligently storing and strategically using solar power during peak rate times.

Lower Your Electricity Bills
Maximize your home’s solar energy usage to minimize grid electricity purchases. A solar battery, like the Enphase 10C, captures and stores excess solar energy, allowing you to use it when needed—especially during peak utility rate times. By using stored energy, you can optimize your electric bill and take control of your energy costs.

About Solar Battery Storage
What Is NEM 3.0 and How Does Solar Battery Storage Factor In?
NEM 3.0 is California’s updated solar net metering policy, effective April 2023, for PG&E, SCE, and SDG&E customers. Under NEM 3.0, the compensation solar customers receive for exporting excess electricity back to the grid varies based on the time of day, day of the week, and month. On average, these rates are about 75% lower than those under the previous NEM 2.0 policy.
Solar batteries help homeowners adapt to NEM 3.0 by allowing them to store excess solar energy instead of sending it to the grid at reduced rates. This stored energy can then be used during peak pricing hours or when solar production is low, maximizing the value of your system and reducing dependence on the utility grid.
