Nissan North America and SunPower have teamed up to help Nissan LEAF electric vehicle owners learn how a residential solar power system from SunPower can reduce their carbon emissions and control the cost of charging their electric vehicles.

Nissan LEAF owners are eligible for a special offer to receive a rebate of up to $1,500 when they buy or $500 when they lease a SunPower system.

• A 2.5-kilowatt high-efficiency solar system can produce enough electricity for approximately 12,000 miles per year of emission-free driving
